What's that? You're on the edge of your seat, anxiously awaiting the awesomness that is sure to ensue?? Oh you are too kind....LOL
So what's a-brewin' in Sarah's noggin?
Well to be completely honest, I am not a huge fan of the new Blogger interface. I find it very user-unfriendly and highly frustrating. I don't see why it needed to change, but I will admit that I am a fuddy-duddy that is not a big fan of change when I am comfortable. I guess I'll get use to it.
Once again, the hubs has gotten me addicted to another tv show. First, it was "Curb your Enthusiasn" and now it's "Game of Thrones". He is reading the books and has been updating me with the sordid details that occur, and now we are watching Season 1. We are impressed. And we might try this game...
I finally finished "50 Shades of Grey" and I will admit that I enjoyed it, but it didn't capture me like the "Twilight" series did (guess that makes me an immature little girl....oh well... ROFL ;). I do have some strong opinions about the casting of Christian Grey for the movie, and they do not include Ryan Gosling. My picks are Ian Somerhalder ("The Vampire Diaries") or Alexander Skarsgård ("True Blood") *see below for my argument.
I am taking a break from the "Grey" trilogy to read "Divergent", which has been in my Ibooks library for months now. So far so good, although I am getting a little frustrated with Tris, and how clueless she is. I guess I have to remind myself that this is written for the adolescent reader, but I don't think that should really matter that much....
Right now I am a tad obsessed with this song.....
I find it so ethereal and yet, sensuous at the same time. Quite a heady mix. Then throw in the fact that the young woman, Birdy, is only 16, and your mind is officially blown.
And this song has also been in heavy rotation as well....
It is just so light and airy. It makes me think of perfect spring days ahead.
And last but not least, this one too....
I love how she says crook like "kirk", very sweet and sad.
And what about the Magster? Well on Saturday, when I got back from the store she proclaimed, "I missed you!" and then I had to be resuscitated because the cuteness overkill, done just about killed me.
Also on Saturday, whilst playing in her room and listening to Pandora's Disney children channel, which had just finished playing Rufus Wainwright's cover of "Hallelujah" from the Shrek soundtrack, my daughter proceeded to continue singing the chorus, in tune, "Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah....". I yelled to the hubs, "Your daughter is singing Leonard Cohen in here, in case you were wondering and in tune, too!".
Oh and she turns 21 months tomorrow....

Good Morning :)
A friend of mine tried to get me into watching Game of Thrones, but after watching the scene with the dead bodies - I was done. I am a total girl and like things light and fluffy with a little romance. HA!
I bet you just about melted when little Maggie said she missed you...I'm getting all teary-eyed thinking about it. What a little sweetie pie.
Have a great day! :)
Oh my. Ok -
1. I also do not like the new interface. Ick.
2. I also agree that Ryan Gosling is not the right person...he is too..."vanilla." :)
3. And...I giggled out loud when I read that you had to "be resuscitated because of the cuteness overkill." :)
Hope you guys are having a great week.
