And I dedicate it to my husband...5 years ago I met a man and fell in love, 2 years ago today we said forever.

October 11, 2008 is one of the best days of my life, second only to the day Maggie was born. We took a gamble on an October wedding but we had the most beautiful day. I woke up at 6am that morning to the sun streaming in the window and I felt so excited and happy. I hung out with my ladies as we got our hair and makeup did. Then I rode in the limo with my Dad over to the Church. I really expected him to give me an out, but I think he had finally come to the realization that this was right.
The butterflies began as I waited to get the show on the road. Not doubt, just a little stage fright.
Finally the moment, I was so ready I started down the aisle before my music. I didn't have time to waste! My knight was waiting for me at the end. Walking down the aisle, I caught sight of my mom and she got me.


But when I finally locked eyes with Brian, the tears vanished and a huge smile spread across my face.
The mass was a little long but it was magical.

And then it was on to the party. I had never attended a reception where people clamored to get onto the dace floor immediately and didn't leave until the bitter end. It truly felt like everyone really wanted to celebrate our love because they saw it and believed in it.
Of course I would do it all again, because I love this man. He does not "complete me"but he makes the ride so much sweeter.
